Sorry for the lack of content around here. Things have been heating up at work, just at the same time we're about to put our condo on the market, so I've been pretty busy.
Meanwhile today I've been working on various changes to this site. Most of what I've done so far (there's more coming) has been pretty subtle, but there are two things I should definitely mention. The first is that I've expanded the blogroll considerably, mainly to jog my memory when I'm away from my bookmarks. A happy side effect of this is that the list now more accurately communicates the list of blogs (and other sites) I actually read and like.
The other major change is the merciless removal of timestamps from every dark corner of the site. This is something I've been wanting to do for a long time, just to make it a tiny bit harder for those who might care about such things to reconstruct my posting schedule. I don't know if it will have an effect on when I actually post or not.
Goodness, who would want to know the time of your post? Don't all bloggers post outside of work?
Glad that Frolic didn't get booted from your blogroll.
I don't think I booted anybody from the blogroll, it was just expanded dramatically. If anybody sees that they've been booted, please let me know, as that was not my intention!
Uh, how about the site that I'm on these days? Not really blogging so much, but commenting plenty.
I hadn't seen a new post from you in a long time and I never really got into that site on its own merits... but I'll give it another look. Where else do you comment frequently?
Mostly just there these days, but some on Yglesias and Ezra's blogs as well. And most of my comments on Matt's site are in the NBA threads. :)
yeah, I always go there after games. I haven't been commenting much lately though (anywhere).
All right, Pacers v. Pistons throw-down is set now. I certainly would have rather faced Boston, but they finally demonstrated what total frauds they are in their disgraceful Game 7 performance. Pacers could be competitive against Detroit, but they looked SOOO bad in their losses to Boston that I'm not too worried.
Yeah, if anybody has a chance against Detroit it's the Pacers. Maybe they got blown out a couple times by the Celts, but they showed up when it counted -- and you KNOW that every game vs the Pistons will be one that counts...
