We've moved beyond garlic powder, no?  

Interesting that these two articles on the perfect burger appeared at the same time, and make the same claim that grinding your own burgers is a good idea. Maybe I've been living in a bubble, but I'd never heard this before, and now I'm dying to try it.

I read those too, and had the same urge. Ended up just buying pre-ground beef though (from an upscale butcher), and maybe because I haven't eaten beef in quite a while, or maybe because of anticipation, but regardless, they were delicious burgers.
