So go ahead...  

1. A reader passes along this alarming article about the shenanigans at Madison Square Garden. I wish it identified the other three guys in the photo at the top. TrueHoop has more, naturally.

2. Here's a video of Glenn Gould's fugue on the subject "So you want to write a fugue." Old, yes, but good. While I'm at it, here's Gould playing the last four of the Goldberg Variations.

3. This piece about the internet and (collective) memory holds some interesting observations about the need to forget things. I especially liked the notion that our abilities to permanently archive information and to search effectively for that information might be growing at different rates. But I think the whole issue seems somewhat bizarre from an individual's standpoint, where forgetting has become so much less dangerous now that we've discovered the remedy.

4. And finally Barrett links to this crazy story about somebody's chilli sauce setting off a terror alert in London. Note the (British?) spelling of chilli.
