Goodbye Orange  

I was really disappointed to see that Orange, the great little brunch place in the South Loop, is going to be closing. I've been there a number of times, most notably after running in races downtown, and I'll miss the cucumber slices they put in their ice water.

But: they will live on through the internet! A photo I took of their eggs benedict graces the relevant Wikipedia page. I guess if you have to close, having had the paradigm for eggs benedict on your menu isn't a bad record to take with you.
